A few bits inbetween, Full Service, Springs fitted, etc...

After the successful meet at 6TWO1, I had a few ideas of where I wanted to take my build.

I can't remember the exact details or order of things so I'm just going to leave it pictures and a small amount of detail.

Around this time my car was due a service and so it was off to Dream Automotive to see Phil. He kindly carried out a Full Service, replacing the oil filter for a HAMP filter (there were no HKS in stock), putting NGK spark plugs in and using Millers Nanotech oil. He was also able to fit my 30mm H&R lowering springs I had purchased earlier in the year, giving my car a bit of a drop.

I cannot recommend these springs enough if you're not quite ready for Coilovers. They give a noticeable drop in ride height and stiffen the car up just enough, not uncomfortable and they way the car should of come from the factory.

A smaller sized front number was put on to clean up the front end, as that huge square one was just plain ugly.

A few more decals applied around the car, and the sound deadening removed from under the hood again giving the car a cleaner appearance.

I had ordered some chrome red vinyl wrap, and the original plan was to wrap the mirrors and the roof. I gave up on this idea pretty quickly as the chrome red can look pink in certain lights.
