Early in January 2015, we held our first owners club Dyno Day at DynoDaze in Hinckley.
A great turnout, with 10 cars attending and most running on the Dyno (I didn't run).
This was a great opportunity for us to see what differences our mods can make. We were even able to compare against a standard CR-Z as James had not carried out any engine modifications yet, bar a K&N panel filter.
Dan's car had a bit of trouble getting on to the Dyno due to his Tein coilovers being set so low, but we just managed to get it on.
Running a custom exhaust set up, including both cats being deleted, one of which was a custom primary decat made by Dream Automotive, his car was... LOUD! It's quite incredible just how loud it was given that these are 1.5l Hybrid's, I don't think the guys at DynoDaze were expecting it really.
Unfortunately, due to the time passed I no longer have access to the Dyno print outs, so I can't tell you have much any of the cars made. Next time I'll be better prepared, I promise.
I had a bit of trouble the night before, I had taken my car to a local jet wash place where they had used the pressure washer at close range and stripped off the newly applied Mugen decals. Well,... they didn't last long :(
I had managed to squeeze in a few more little mods though.
Red washers on the rear lights are a nice little touch and I hadn't mentioned before about the eye-lined rear lights (this removes the silvery line that surrounds the rear lights and makes a subtle difference, looking a bit less like a Prius now)
A Red Tegiwa front tow hook had been put on the front (and no... it doesn't break down a lot)
It's always great to see so many CR-Z's all parked up together, although given these pictures you'd be forgiven for thinking they only made them in white.
You lads should meet again in march, I should be buying one next week and would like to meet down in hinckley
