Cleaning, wrapping and Mimms

I enlisted the girlfriend to clean the car before a small meet in Bury St Edmunds in the week leading up to Mimms at Bluewater.

There was a great turnout at the Bury St Edmunds meet, unfortunately this was the only picture I took as I spent too much time looking at all the cars instead.

During this time I carbon warped some interior panels. This was a bit easier than I expected and got rid of some of that horrible plastic chrome stuff and the grey that comes as standard.

Oh and not forgetting... I kerbed one of my wheels! It felt like killing a unicorn.

A quick trip up to Chris's saw us fit the rear fog light, polyfill the sub enclosure using a hollow fibre pillow and replacing the rear number plate bulbs for brighter ones. A big thanks to Chris and Simon for helping with this.

Then off to Mimms at Bluewater. This was the first outing for the owners club to Mimms and we had a great turnout, 10 cars altogether.

Mimms is always a great show to attend, whether you're showing your car or just visiting, it's a good chance to see what's happening in the scene and get some ideas. Not to mention meeting and hanging out with friends, old and new.

Gav Roberts, from Spoon Sports EU, was a legend and fitted a Spoon N1 backbox to a members car on the club stand, taking time out of his Mimms experience to lend a helping hand. This is what I love about the modified community, everyone is willing to help if they can. Not to mention the excellent customer service, talk about going above and beyond.
